Unfair practices of supervisors, Too many upsales when customers would call in to purchase something. This company was bought by Alorica At Home, but nothing has changed. You still make your own schedule. You can get a ton of overtime. And ya know working from home is always nice. It's a work at home job so you have total control over how your day goes. The schedule is totally flexible you can work anywhere from 30mins to 12hrs. If you work more than 6hrs there is a mandatory 30min break.
Work at home position. Had weekly meetings and it was a fight for getting hours to work. They only p rd omoted if you were in a certain location. Overall to many workers not enough hours. Do not train well. The only thing I didn't like about them which was a big thing to me was they did not give you hands on training. I asked them if we could have a trial run so I could see if I was doing the job correctly but they refused to help me. I got a call to order something and I was confused when I was putting information in and I tried to go to the next page, and it wouldn't go.
So I quit because I felt so sorry for the customer because I didn't know what I was doing. I think the whole set up is stupid, and lazy. Why make us put our customers on hold, when all they have to do is train us well, It is going to take the same amount of time with us calling them when a customer is on hold. They do not want to help new employees, and they refuse to train them well. Job with flexible contract status but no benefits and lack of management.
I enjoyed working my own schedules from home, but didn't enjoy competing with other colleagues to obtain work hours. Also, there was little to no infrastructure and I was seldom able to speak with a manager. Pay was very low and there were no bonuses, incentives, or vacation days. Great company to work for, management is awesome the are fair, and understanding love my job.
The schedules are as follows, you can pick your own schedule, and they will have schedules to choose from day to day. Love To work from home! I have worked from home for over 10 years and I have managed problem solving, tech support and customer retention. There were hard to handle calls that I was able to create rapport with the customer from the beginning of the call to better understand and work on a great satisfactory outcome. I really needed a job when I first moved to Georgia. I've worked for the company when I first turned 18 and I enjoyed it then.
So, they started an at Home position and I jumped on it immediately. I had young children and I could make my own schedule. The only thing I didn't like about the company, you were your own boss, everything was done through emails, but they did have a lot of resources for you if you had questions and a great support team. I really loved it because I didn't have anyone telling me what to do. As long as you were self motivated it was an easy job to have and keep. This was my first work from home job was amazing for what it was which showed me a different way of once I was unable to work in a regular setting so it was great.
